We are excited to offer nutritious, all-natural organic meals. During the growing season we purchase our fruits and veggies at local markets and we participate in a crop-share at RC Organic Farms in Lenox, MI.  We also grow our own vegetables in our backyard.  The children enjoy learning how to plant, tend and harvest the foods we eat.   

We serve our meals family style which means that children are in control of how much and which foods they eat.  We offer several opportunities for the children to help prepare their meals.  It's not uncommon to walk into a classroom and see children helping to prepare food such as homemade pancake batter: measuring, pouring and mixing the ingredients.  We have found that children enjoy trying new foods and are naturally eager to try the foods they help prepare.   

With a small family style atmosphere, we teach the children table manners including how to set the table, pass a dish and clean up after every meal.
